Bantams boss Stuart McCall has made six changes to his side for City's trip to Cheltenham Town in the Checkatrade Trophy.
Rouven Sattelmaier has replaced Colin Doyle in goal, while Stephen Darby, Rory McArdle and Matthew Kilgallon have all been recalled into defence.
Darby is expected to start the game at left back, with McArdle and Kilgallon paired together in central defence.
The inclusion of McArdle and Kilgallon means skipper Romain Vincelot is scheduled to line up in midfield.
There is also a place in City's midfield for Daniel Devine.
James Hanson is back in the team as well after starting last Saturday's game at Shrewsbury Town from the bench.
The fit-again Billy Clarke has been included among City's list of substitutes, along with the likes of Nicky Law, James Meredith, Josh Cullen and Nathaniel Knight-Percival.
Alex Jones and Alex Gilliead are both cup-tied for the match.
