Nicky Law's fourth goal of the season earned City a share of the spoils from their trip to Bristol Rovers following a dominant display from Stuart McCall's men.

An evenly-matched first period saw Law's well-taken leveller midway through the half cancel out a fine opening goal from Rovers' Chris Lines that had come just over ten minutes earlier.

Lines gave Rovers the lead with a fine curling effort from just inside the box, but City responded later in the half when Charlie Wyke neatly played Law through on goal with a clever back heel and the midfielder coolly slotted past home 'keeper Joe Lumley.

McCall's men stepped things up after the break, pinning the hosts in their own half for large periods and enjoying a number of goal-scoring opportunities.

Tony McMahon saw an effort touched onto the post within the first minute after the restart, while Billy Clarke and Wyke were both incredibly denied goals from close range after some smart reflexes from Lumley.

Nathaniel Knight-Percival also forced a good reaction stop from Lumley in between those two chances, as City continued to boss proceedings following the half time interval.

Rovers were left playing virtually on the counter-attack alone as time ticked down but the Bantams were unable to quite breakthrough the home defences from a second time to net a deserved winner.

89min: SUB - Rovers bring on Jamie Lucas for James.
87min: Rovers outnumber City as they counter-attack from a Bantams corner. Broom has the ball at his feet as he bursts forward but his eventual delivery towards a team-mate is over-hit and the ball goes out for a throw-in over by the far side.

73min: Lockyer's downward header into the six yard box from Lines' corner is kicked clear by an alert McMahon.
71min: SUBS - Rovers bring on Ryan Broom and Rory Gaffney for Montano and Harrison respectively.
63min: Lumley denies City again! Marshall bursts to the byline at pace down City's right flank before firing in a teasing cross. Wyke attacks the cross from close range but Lumley somehow get something on the ball to repel the header.
62min: Lockyer is now back on the pitch, bringing Rovers back up to their full compliment of players.
62min: YELLOW CARD - Sweeney is booked for catching Clarke with a late tackle in Rovers' half of the pitch.
61min: Lockyer is off the pitch receiving treatment for an apparent cut on his nose.
60min: City keep the pressure on from the resulting corner and Vincelot plays a scooped pass forward that eventually drops into the path of Knight-Percival, who is in space in the box. Knight-Percival fires for goal on his favoured left foot but his effort is blocked out by the outstretched right leg of Lumley.

43min: Harrison strikes for goal with a drive from distance and a diving Doyle is able to gather up at the second attempt after making the initial save low to his right.
40min: A ball over the top towards Luke James looks to have given the Rovers striker a sight of goal inside the box but McArdle does enough to halt the progress of the former Bantams loanee. The ball breaks out to Montano just inside the box but his fizzing drive is blocked behind by the diving frame of McMahon.
39min: Cristian Montano fires over from the edge of the box with a rising strike after the ball had broke into his path following a forceful run into the area by Stuart Sinclair.

26min: GOAL!!!!!!!!!!! Bristol Rovers 1 Bradford City 1 - Nicky Law levels things up for City with a well-taken move. Starting from outside the box, Law plays the ball into the feet of Wyke, who finds the run of the midfielder into the box with a neat back-heel. Now one-on-one with Lumley, Law calmly slots home into the net past the Rovers shot-stopper.
22min: Meredith looks to burst into space inside down City's left flank and into the box but Lumley is out quickly to tackle the ball out for a throw-in.
22min: Lines' driven effort from the resulting free-kick is held on the bounce by Doyle.
20min: Nathaniel Knight-Percival is off the pitch at the moment after taking a whack to his face while challenging for the ball with Luke James in City's half of the pitch. Knight-Percival is actually penalised for holding onto James during the tangle, meaning City will have to defend a free-kick with him off the pitch.
16min: McMahon's whips in an inviting delivery into the six yard box but a sliding Wyke and Marshall are both just unable to convert in the middle.
15min: GOAL - Bristol Rovers 1 Bradford City 0 - Lines fires Rovers in the lead with a fine finish curling finish into the far corner from just inside the box.
15min: Ollie Clarke evades the challenges of Romain Vincelot and Rory McArdle to work his way into the Bantams penalty area but Colin Doyle is out quickly to block the midfielder's effort from a tight angle.

13min: Wyke stretches to reach Meredith's cross into the middle but he can only send a looping header up into the air for Joe Lumley to claim.
8min: Tony McMahon's cross into the box is cleared as far as Billy Clarke just outside the box.
