Bradford City vs Swindon Town Match

The Bantams brought the curtain down on their 2011/2012 campaign with a creditable goalless draw against League 2 champions Swindon Town. On the front-foot for the most part, City had a number of decent scoring chances throughout the season-ending fixture and probably deserved victory from their contest with the division's top-ranked side. The result of the game seemed to matter little to the 1,255 travelling supporters, who celebrated Swindon's praiseworthy season with Paolo Di Canio's men for long after the full-time whistle. But with James Hanson and Nahki Wells, in particular, looking a real threat at times, however, the Bantams' final day display should have given City fans some encouragement that it could be them in the mood for a party in twelve months time frame.
